Times running out on the lie that is LUST

Its early in the morning. Almost 6am to be exact and for me I wake up with a serious topic on my mind. A topic that plauged me to destruction at times in life. Such a dangerous and wicked topic that the word of God tells us to flee from it. It is the only sin that is done against oneself! Anytime this evil spirit comes upon you, me or anyone it is to be taken seriously. Time is running out and this is an area that needs to be dealt with immediately.

See the reason it is to be taken very seriously is because the L word has worked for hundreds of years to become apart of cultural norms. It has fought to inject its ways into the ways of children. It has dominated adults to levels of perversion. All to take the sting out of what it truly is. Destruction! It truly only leads to destruction.

Lust is a temptation and an evil that overcomes many of us. It is born of Satan and the flesh. Every single one of us is subject to lust. If we are to overcome it, we must be strong. Use the Bible verses I reference to find out why you should resist lust, and use them to strengthen yourself.

Jesus Christ was informed from God to address this. He did so in a new way that many had not heard it described before. For many have tried to use lust in secret and with their eyes. Thinking somehow it wasn’t as serious as physical touching. So The Christ says this in Matthew 5:28 I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Many would say I thought adultery could be committed only by married individuals. Well then. It appears the act of adultery is lust. This isn’t the name society wants anyone to know about it. This isn’t the name Satan desires anyone to know about lust. Yet Christ exposed it for what it is. It isn’t just an attraction to someone, it isn’t just harmless admiration of someone’s body with your eyes. It isn’t to be accepted as just what everyone does.

It is exactly what our savior calls it. What God the Father commanded us not to do. Commit adultery.

If we understand the seriousness of the next statement from Christ maybe we get a true vision of how severe this sin is.

In Matthew 18:9 He says this. If your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

If this doesn’t bring even deeper clarity to the seriousness of this sin then I don’t know what will. Looking upon a person with lust is enough to send you to hell.

What we have learned here from Christ is that the L word is actually adultery. Also that it is a sin against your own self and should be taken with such seriousness to the degree that he gives an example of you doing bodily harm to prevent it from happening. There is no other sin that he paints such a gruesome image of how to stay away from it.

This was not done to encourage you to do harm to yourself, but to rather get the point across with such seriousness that the reader or listener would comprehend how serious this is.

Lust has no boundaries. It will even visit you while you sleep. It desires so much it will take advantage of the sleeping. Be not confused. A Rapist, A Pedophile, A homosexual, A heterosexual, An adolescent, and an adult all can be, and HAVE been visited by Lust. This covers everyone. From the sick and demented, to the perverse and wretched. To the common individual that glances in admiration of someone’s appearance. Lust is a spirit from Satan. It will overtake you and look for various ways to engage in its wickedness.

Be on guard against this wicked spirit as we now live in a generation that supports the L word as an expression to be done freely or artistically. Children now encouraged to explore with their identities and to be not ashamed of whatever they stumble upon. This is clearly not a doctrine from a God of love. But from a ruler that hates you. Desires destruction for you. And the most powerful fruit that evil one has ever desired mankind to have is LUST. It has even changed its identity for those believing the lie that it is okay to engage in it. Now the L word desires to mask itself as the (other L word that has never had fellowship with it. )

Lust now has support from many to be called Love. And this is its great mistake beyond words. As God is Love and Lust is from Satan. Once a generation seeks to align God with anything from Satan that generation is cursed.

So you see. Marvel not at your riots, or your mass shootings, or your perverse tv shows and music. Marvel not at what you call climate change that brings forth fire and storms or destruction. Marvel not when those that celebrate their lust in the streets claim love. This is the result of a world that has done the cardinal sin. Make lust a form of love from God the Father. Knowing it to be from Satan.

You aren’t living in the last days if you believe lust is about expression and the freedom to do so. Understand this! You are already dead unless you turn from this!! Those that are alive living amongst the dead in these last days keep yourself from the L word and run to the true Love of Christ daily!!

Keep your mind renewed on his word DAILY. To even have a moment of lust, a literal second is the worst feeling you can have.
