Love your neighbor

There is an overwhelmingly powerful movement happening from those desiring to prove their descendance as Hebrews or Israelites. There is also a movement amongst the African American community that is rejecting Jesus Christ and the word of God. This is being done by many African Americans in a way to reject the European descendants. The reasoning for this is because of the very blatant history of slavery and violence that was projected unto the African American in this land America.

What is stunning to me though is the absence of total truth about it all. If we read honestly the word of God we see that God punished his people throughout the Old testament for their rejection and disobedience of him. It is clear from the Old testament that God uses ungodly nations to rule over his people as a form of punishment for their rebellion. He states he will scatter them to foreign lands, give incurable diseases, and allow hunger amongst many other things to punish his people for their ways against him. See Leviticus 26:14-46.

This is hard for many to receive, so we see this movement angry at European descendants for their behaviors against those labeled black in America and really that anger is misplaced. To a degree. Or rather absent of true understanding.

The anger should be against the very ancestors we so lovingly want to be associated with. If one is to assume anger as appropriate concerning all these things. It is their very ways and actions against the God that rescued them from slavery originally that caused these punishments to fall upon them and the descendants of them. God never told us we didn’t have an enemy, but here we are fighting to expose their heritage while ignoring our own truly. Is this not hypocrisy?! So many are clinging to this bondage instead of receiving the very freedom God gives through his son Jesus Christ. For the freedom he gives does not have you under a curse. It does not align you with the actions and ways of those before you that rejected God. So is there any surprise that in 2022 we see many adopt ways of living that are against God while using the mind of those that rebelled in past?

The second half of this piece will truly expose who our neighbor is and who our enemy is. Who our brothers and sisters in Christ are and who are truly foreigners to us. Nonetheless we are to love all with truth. Not to hinder them in their belief in our Lord (Yeshua)(HaMashiach) or known as Jesus Christ. Rather there should be fellowship with them that truly believe.

This country is very consumed by race, but what consumes it even more is immorality. So the enemy has made a concerted effort of merging the two. Now many feel it is acceptable and right in the eyes of the African American community to see a homosexual male paraded on television as a representation of men of our race. African American society doesn’t see that as destructive to the future of the race, although knowing that lifestyle ends procreation of it. Yet the race of people claim to be for their people. All the while pointing out how a Klan member teaches racism to their young and that is destructive to their race future. Yet the Klan member will still procreate while we end our own race to celebrate a lifestyle that cannot produce any life. This is just one of the obvious hypocritical ways the “pro black” movement has blinded itself. Your men wear dresses and have the entire culture of people afraid to even say that is wrong and it does not foster a strong black man for the future, but here we are claiming to be for the black man and for our people. What people??! People of wrath and immorality apparently. This is how race and immorality has merged itself above truth in Christ amongst the African American. Somehow many believe that this isn’t the mind of a gentile but because you believe you have Hebrew descent and be from Israel God is pleased with you. This is a lie from hell.

So, with that said let me be clear. There is one brotherhood and one Lord and savior Jesus Christ. There is one God and he is the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Those that have faith in Jesus Christ are of the brother and sisterhood under God. Those that have faith in Jesus and live in this faith daily are the foreigners of the world. Therefore our neighbor would be everyone else outside of this. We are called to love them just as we love God and our brothers and sisters in the faith.

As for who is able to be saved and who Jesus came for. Lets keep it simple.

Salvation comes to Gentiles from the root of God’s covenant with the Jews. They are simply grafted in like wild olive branches that have no historical claim at all on being God’s people. And God saves them by reckoning them children of Abraham by faith, as Paul says in Galatians 3:7, “It is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. Love your brother who is of the same faith as you. No he may not be of Hebrew descent or a Israelite but if his faith is in Jesus Christ, it be not loving to cause him to stumble in his faith because of the heritage we have as descendants of Israel or his or her lack thereof.

All gentiles were only grafted in because of our ancestors disbelief. How can we be proud of our heritage without recognizing the mercy of God over his people.  Our heritage will not save us. If anything, it shows even more the mercy and grace of God because of what our predecessors did against him. Or do we think God chose the Hebrews because they were righteous? Clearly not. Do not think that we have been chosen by God due to our works.

Why are many in 2022 trying to prove what heritage they have as though that makes them right with God?? Could it be they do not understand who truly their brothers and sisters are in Christ? Maybe the desire to be recognized by appearance rather than faith is the motive. Regardless it is our faith in his son that makes us right with God, for only that is what God will recognize in the day of judgement. He will not say: because you are Hebrew or because you are a Israelite, you are saved. If that very person believeth not in his son as many Jews do not how might they be right with God? Would you receive anyone that rejected your child? So what benefit are we trying to present to the gentiles of our heritage??

This is not of God. We should love our neighbor, the believing Gentile in our brother Jesus Christ just as we love the fellow African American. Being a descendant of the Hebrews in Israel was of great value. Now the value is found in the faith and belief in his son Jesus Christ. It is the very racist mind of the European that desires us to focus on skin color and ethnicity. So much of that way of thinking came from those many claim they are against. Yet they will adopt the very same logics to make their own distinctions. How is this not hypocrisy?!

Our elder brother and Lord told us to love our neighbor and used a Samaritan to show this. The parable was to speak through the actions of the non Jew that he was a neighbor to the Jew. So the Jew ought to treat the non Jew the same with love.

When the Centurion officer who was a gentile came to Jesus asking that his servant be healed, he also stated that he was unworthy for Jesus to come to his home. So much so that if Jesus simply spoke the healing he believed it would be so. Read what Jesus said to him about Gentiles. He states, they would come from the east, and the west to dine with Abraham, Issac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. He stated this after marveling at the faith of this gentile and said it was greater than he had seen in all of Israel. This was God speaking through his son to show us what would make Gentiles right with him. Their faith. Love your believing neighbor. For that is your brother and sister.

Read Leviticus 19:34 and Mark 12:31 for clarity as it is written in the Old spoken by The Father God and in the New spoken by his son Jesus. Lastly remember this about those that are not of your own denomination or claim superiority in their own church establishment. In Luke 9:50, Jesus says this when approached by his followers that witnessed others doing what they were doing but not of their own group.

Luke 49-50 Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in Your name, and we tried to stop him, because he does not accompany us.” 50“Do not stop him,” Jesus replied, “for whoever is not against you is for you.”

Let no-one confuse this as accepting someone manipulating Christ for gain or vain reasons but rather a believer in truth. Let us not cause other believers to stumble because of our own movement or ancestry that doesn’t align with us. Let us hold to what our elder brother stated and love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

May the peace of Christ be with you as we do so.

Not only for those that are of the Christian faith but all for the belief that we are all his children "IF" we choose to be in belief in his son Jesus. IF we obey his words we display our love truly for him. This message is open to everyone that seeks it and if they do with all their heart they shall find it.
